VIRTUS Slough 11 is part of the VIRTUS Data Centre Campus, located on the Slough Trading Estate, one of the UK's largest business parks and one of the country's most established data centre ecosystems. The strategically located campus provides highly resilient, secure and scalable digital infrastructure, making it a key hub for enterprise and cloud service providers.
The campus comprises four state-of-the-art data centre facilities, all designed with VIRTUS' core principle of flexibility at the heart of the development. This approach enables the campus to adapt to evolving customer requirements while delivering exceptional levels of operational resilience, energy efficiency and performance.
Thermal Projects was appointed to deliver a comprehensive package of specialist thermal insulation services across the development. Our scope of works included the installation of thermal insulation, trace heating systems, PIB (Protected Insulation Blankets) across four separate roof areas, Isogenopak protective cladding systems, and bespoke thermal insulation jackets. These solutions were designed to protect critical mechanical services, improve energy efficiency, provide weather resistance and support the long-term operational reliability of the campus's essential infrastructure.
